☕ Luce Coffee Brussels: the discreet coffee spot you discover (almost) by chance

There are places you look for… and others you discover almost by accident.
Luce Coffee clearly belongs to the second category.

To be honest, I used to walk past it every day while dropping my daughter off at daycare… without ever really noticing… No large signs, no flashy signs, no eye-catching posters.
Just a white, ultra-discreet facadealmost invisible on the street.

And then one day, you look up… and you think to yourself: “Hey, what’s this place?”

👀 An address that doesn't advertise itself... but is well worth the detour

It's exactly the kind of place you might miss ten times, but once you've tried it, you can't miss it anymore. And honestly, that perfectly captures the spirit of the place. Nothing is done to artificially attract people. It's all in the product, not in the display case..

🥐 Behind the discreet exterior: something very solid

Once inside, the atmosphere changes completely. light wood counter, piping hot pastries straight from the oven aligned on the trolley as in a workshopFresh flowers add a touch of sweetness; the open kitchen is just behind, and most importantly: Products that speak for themselves

Golden brown croissants, perfectly shaped chocolate croissants, generous buns… And that little detail that always makes a difference: the “sold out” labels in full serviceThe pain au chocolat with homemade chocolate/praline is simply divine, and the croissant with béchamel sauce is perfect if you're in the mood for something savory.

🌿 A unique atmosphere

Everything is minimalist: white walls, clean shelves, no unnecessary decoration… It’s almost a Nordic/Japanese vibe: calm, clean, serene.

It's exactly the kind of place you keep coming back to: having a quiet coffee, eating a good croissant, no noise, no pressure

💬 My InsideBrussels review

Honestly, this is the kind of place I love to share. Invisible from the outside, but extremely strong on the inside. And in a way, that's what makes it so charming:

  • no aggressive marketing
  • no flashy facade
  • just good work

Now that I've spotted it… I can't walk past it again without thinking about it 😄

The only slight drawback is the art-latte technique… it will require more practice 😀
