If you scroll a little too much on TikTok Like me 😅, there's a good chance you've already come across BroomThat's exactly how I stumbled upon it… and honestly? I absolutely don't regret giving in. Eating Italian in Brussels isn't just about pizza… Here are the delicious focaccia from Scopa.

🃏 The story behind Scopa

You may already know this, but Broom It is first and foremost an Italian card game, a classic, a symbol of simple moments, laughter, and long evenings with friends or family. And clearly, it's no coincidence that the restaurant bears this name.

The founders, of Italian origin, wanted to recreate this warm and authentic atmosphere through their concept. Here, you don't just come to eat: you come to share.

The heart of the project?
👉 Quality products
👉 Home-style cooking
👉 And above all… a deep respect for Italian traditions

The undisputed star of the house: focaccia (I.e.
Prepared on site, kneaded and baked according to a typical recipe, it is at once soft, crispy and ultra generous.

Add to that an atmosphere of cellar modern, with an Italian-style welcome, you almost feel like you're at the Nonna ❤️

After seeing it (again and again) on TikTok, we thought: Okay, let's go!.

And there… what a slap 🤤

There were quite a few people (good sign 👀), but we managed to snag a little spot on their terrace — honestly super pleasant when the weather is nice in Brussels.

One small detail we loved:
👉 the system of bleep
No need to queue for 20 minutes, you order, you wait calmly, and it beeps when it's ready. Simple, efficient.

🥪 And what about the focaccia?

Clearly… unbelievable.

We tested it:

  • Rome ❤️13.50
    • Porchetta
      • Roquette
    • Pecorino
    • Dried tomatoes

👉 Super soft bread
👉 Ultra-high-quality ingredients
👉 More than generous portions

Frankly, at first we thought “Okay, it’s a bit expensive.”...
But from the first bite, you immediately understand where the money goes.

👉 Perfect balance, ultra tasty

💬 What others are saying (and I agree!)

By digging a little deeper into the reviews (Google, TikTok, etc.), we find exactly what we experienced:

“Wonderful focaccia made with authentic ingredients. Sooo tasty.”
“I lived in Italy for 20 years… and this is one of the best focaccias I’ve ever eaten.”

And honestly? I approve 100%.

Another review that sums up the experience well:

“Fresh produce, generous portions and a super friendly atmosphere. You'd think you were in Italy.”

👌 The service

Another major strength is the staff:

  • smiling 😊
  • Polite – they even speak Portuguese!!
  • super welcoming

It may seem basic, but it changes everything in the experience.
