5. Where to get an orange bin for organic waste in Brussels?

As a resident of the Brussels-Capital Region, you can receive a free trash can orange for your household. You can receive it by going to one of our Recyparks.

5.1 Municipalities where to get an orange bin at the Municipal House

The inhabitants of Anderlecht, Brussels city, Etterbeek, Evere, Forest, Ixelles, Koekelberg, Schaerbeek, Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre can obtain a container from their municipal administration.

  • Anderlecht
    at 100, rue de Veeweyde, 1070 Anderlecht from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. Given the significant management required by this distribution, it is always possible that the distribution conditions will change over the next few weeks. 5.2 The municipalities of Brussels who give the orange bin to the recypark

The Recyparks are open 7 days a week (with the exception of the public holidays mentioned on the Recypark official website) Except for the Recypark Woluwe-Saint-Pierre which is never open on Sundays and Mondays.

Attention, the identity card is compulsory to get an orange bin, and you will have to queue sometimes more than 30 minutes.

If you are in a hurry, the container parks are less busy on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. If you go on Sunday and Monday, go around 18pm, the waiting time is much shorter.
