Jazz will once again resonate in the streets of Brussels during the Lotto Brussels Jazz Weekend, from Friday May 24 to Sunday May 26, 2024. This emblematic event, which attracts nearly 300 music lovers in our capital, returns for its seventh edition. For three days, the emblematic squares of Brussels will be the scene of free open-air concerts, while more than 30 concerts will also take place indoors.

Outdoor and Indoor Concerts
The Lotto Brussels Jazz Weekend offers a varied program of open-air concerts on three emblematic squares in Brussels. At the same time, more than 30 indoor concerts will also be organized, offering music lovers a diversity of artists and musical genres. In addition, brass bands from all over Europe will parade through the city center, creating a festive and dynamic atmosphere.
An Invitation to Discover Contemporary Jazz
For this seventh edition, the festival will highlight Belgian artists, thus offering a showcase to the local music scene. The organizers have collaborated with renowned cultural partners such as Flagey, Bozar, Botanique, Ancienne Belgique and VK to offer a diverse and exciting program. Rising figures from Belgian jazz as well as international artists will perform on the different stages, offering spectators a rich and immersive musical experience.

The main square, Sainte-Catherine Square and Place de la Bourse will be the main venues for this jazz festival. On the Grand Place you can enjoy contemporary jazz performances with artists such as Vitja Pauwels, Lara Rosseel ARK, Manu Hermia' Orchestra Nazionale della Luna, JohnGhost and Camille-Alban Spreng's ODIL + Nina Kortekaas. Place Sainte-Catherine will be dedicated to new emerging talents from the Belgian jazz scene, with artists like Lucia Pires, Kin Gajo, Sébastiaen Hugue, Adriana Calvo, ASKIP, This is the Omen, Octet Nocturne, Fujin & Seven Days Orchestra. Finally, Place de la Bourse will offer a diverse program going beyond traditional jazz, with touches of funk and electro, notably with Dushime, Jean-Paul Groove, Kuna Maze, Bombataz, The Helliocentrics, Jazmyn, Saudade Experiment and Nnavy.
This year, the festival has joined forces with new cultural partners, including Flagey, spoils, Botany, Ancient Belgium and VK. This collaboration reinforces the diversity of the programming and highlights the musical wealth of Brussels.
