Want a simple, tasty and cheap in the Sablon district in Brussels ? Le Perroquet is the ideal place for you! This restaurant-bar, open for more than 30 years, is a true institution for pita lovers.

A unique setting and a warm atmosphere

As soon as you arrive, you will be charmed by the Art Nouveau setting of Le Perroquet, with its stained glass windows and marble paneling. The image you sent me perfectly shows the elegance and refinement of the dining room. The atmosphere at Le Perroquet is warm and friendly, perfect for a meal with friends or family.

  • Large windows with colorful stained glass which let in natural light and give the room a bright and airy atmosphere.
  • Marble paneled walls which bring a touch of sophistication to the decoration.
  • A mosaic floor which adds a touch of character to the room.
  • Dark wood furniture which contrasts with the light colors of the walls and stained glass windows.
  • The omnipresence of wood, which adorns the walls and gives the room a chic and refined air.

The staff is welcoming and attentive, and will do everything possible to ensure that you have a pleasant time.

Pitas for all tastes and sauces that hit the mark

Le Perroquet is renowned for its pitas, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. You will find a wide choice of toppings, from meat to fish to vegetarian options. Each pita is served with two house sauces, including garlic sauce and pineapple-flavored cocktail sauce, which are particularly popular with customers.

Price-wise, pitas are almost all below 10 euros, making it excellent value for money. You can also take advantage of the heated terrace for outdoor dining on sunny days.

What to remember from The Parrot?

In summary, Le Perroquet is an excellent place to enjoy delicious pitas in a pleasant setting and at a reasonable price. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal in the Sablon district of Brussels!

Le Perroquet: A tasty and affordable treat in Brussels!

      27th June 2024

Located a stone's throw from Place du Sablon, Le Perroquet is a true haven of peace for foodies. This restaurant, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere, offers a wide variety of pitas filled with fresh, quality products.

I had the opportunity to test their vegetarian pita, and II can tell you that it was a real delight! The vegetables were perfectly cooked, the sauce was flavorful and the pita was nicely crispy. The portions are also very generous, which is a significant plus.

Price-wise, it is more than reasonable, making it an ideal address for a quick and economical meal. Too bad the default dish is missing fries…

The service is fast and efficient, and the staff is always smiling and welcoming.
