All about Victor Horta, the Belgian architect

Even if this man was born a long time ago (1861), he continues to influence the lives of the people of Brussels. You have probably been amazed by his architectural works.

And yes… Victor Horta is one of the leading figures of Art Nouveau in Belgium. Thanks to his talent, he broke with the traditional architecture of bourgeois houses, highlighting the stairwell, the passage of light through glass roofs and skylights.

Each of his creations is made in detail, down to the generally luxurious furniture. His favorite materials? Metal, glass and stone.
