Looking for a cocktail bar for after-work with colleagues or your next romantic date? Not easy to choose among all the bars and terraces in Brussels. Not easy to find the cocktail bars in the middle of all these bars at beers. Don't be desperate, over the past few years an impressive number of cocktail bars have sprung up in the Belgian capital. The bars compete with each other with the formulas ofhappy hours offered as well as creativity. Exit the traditional mojitos, in Brussels you can now sip more elaborate mixtures in places other than the corner terrace.

#1 Hortense Spirits & Cocktails in Ixelles/Flagey

Ideal for a neighborhood drink Halles Saint-Géry. This small pub is located in the calm of the halls in a very particular style. There is a good atmosphere. It really is a place to know. If you want advice for your cocktail, the owner has a knack for finding the ideal cocktail that will suit your tastes. A special mention for the strawberry mojito. If you're not into cocktails, a choice of beers is also offered. If along the way you get a little hungry, the Gecko cocktail bar also offers snacks. the Sunday, the bar also offers a brunch user-friendly.

#5: If it's sunny, the Waff terrace obliges for happy hours!

Every day from 12 p.m. to 3 a.m., the Waff bar welcomes you in a cadre warm or mixes wood and bare bricks. After happy hour (18 p.m.-20 p.m.) you will continue your evening atmosphere fuck until the end of the night dancing on the tables. If you are less festive, but rather relaxed, in summer, you can give yourself the feeling of vacation by enjoying a mojito or a fresh fruit juice from the terrace-bar. Please note, distinguished attire required. Shirtless, gentlemen, you will stay outside. The terrace on a sunny day in summer is quite classy for the neighborhood.

#6 The Coaster: Happy hours in the shaker

Ladies night on Thursday evening!! 1 shaker purchased = 1 shaker received! If you don't know the Coaster you probably won't pass by simple chance. It's not the most elegant cocktail bar in Brussels, but be aware that during happy hour  it's the best value for money in Brussels ! Cocktails served in a shaker. 1 Shaker purchased = 1 Shaker free. The bartender is always there to advise you. It's not super big so you might not find a seat. We recommend it for your pre-parties or crazy party with friends.. In short, enough to get up the next day with a headache.

#7. Unusual cocktail bar: La Pharmacie Anglaise (Brussels centre)

If you are looking for an original and unusual place halfway between the grand place and the Royal Palace, take advantage of the moment to have one (or more) cocktails in an old pharmacy: the English pharmacy. Both the interior of the establishment and the cocktails overflowing with imagination and unusual things. You can, for example, sit comfortably and have a cocktail in the small anatomy room at the back of the pharmacy. You'll even feel like you're right in the middle of a movie set. Very nice! No beers here, but rather original and good cocktails/mocktails such as the "Don't touch my bed" and the "TikiBreakfast". Do not forget to book, here it is rather full. Be on time, your reservation is only held for 10 minutes if you are late. Rue Coudenberg 66.
