The 5 best parks where to have a take-away drink with a friend? #Covid

During the last months you have probably already traveled all over Belgium on foot. Do you know the walks in the parks of Brussels and the Soigne forest by heart?…. If you don't know what to do. U.S. too! we went in search ideas to pass the time in Brussels during the Corona virus crisis? These walks in Brussels should give a little more to your walks and Sunday activities in Brussels. During the lockdown, nature walks in Brussels have the rating. And what better way to warm up before or after exercise than a good crepe and hot chocolate?

1. Have a coffee in the Royal Park at Woodpecker

What could be better than a hot apple juice, cinnamon ginger and a Brussels waffle to ward off the cold. If you are interested in more than a surprising view of the Brussels courthouse, go to Woodpecker. Ideal as a take-away during your walks, you will find hot drinks (premium tea, hot chocolate, etc.) and even snacks to warm up your walk. If you go to Bois de la Cambre, know that they also have a kiosk there. Check their Facebook for opening hours. It changes depending on the weather. Generally, Woodpecker Parc Royal will be open Monday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 17 p.m.

2. The Wild Duck – a pancake and mulled wine counter in Watermael-Boitsfort

If you go for a walk in the Soignes forest, add a stopover in the direction of Watermael-Boitsfort. What could be better than warming up after exercise in the great outdoors. Le Canard Sauvage and its pancake counter will warm you up. On the menu a lot of good things in take-away such as: sweet crepes, Breton, chocolates and mulled wines, homemade tacos… This will help motivate (big) children to put on their walking shoes and continue the walks.

Whether on weekends or weekdays, the dairy awaits you from 11:30 a.m. to 18 p.m., to warm your hands and heart. Meals and drinks are to take away to take the air in the beautiful park of Schaerbeek: the Josaphat park. Do not hesitate to taste their delicious waffles. & stay safe !. ! 4. Homemade waffles and mulled wine to take home Josephine's in Josaphat Park

If there's a line at the dairy, take a look at Josephine's (or vice versa). To get the year off to a good start, it offers you hot drinks and sweets in take-away for a walk with friends in complete safety in the Josephat park in Scharbeek. You will therefore find something to warm up your walk with hot chocolate, coffee, mulled wine, Homemade Brussels waffles, donuts & company! In general, the place is open from Wednesday 13 p.m. to 17 p.m., Friday 13 p.m. to 17 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 17 p.m. The Josaphine's kiosk is located in the very center of Parc Josaphat.


5. Le Flore – Bois de la Cambre

On the development of its establishment, Le Flore has decided to place a small wooden chalet. Thanks to this, they can now serve you food and drink. On the menu ? Something to end your promm-enadae in style in the Bois de la Cambre: hot drinks but also something to eat: you will find there for example churros, raclettes, paellas. Over the weeks the menu changes. The prices are attractive (Soup of the day 5€, Oriental Bao: 7€ etc…) You will find the menu on their Facebook page.
