Free museums in Brussels

Following an initiative launched in 2012 by an ASBL (Arts&Publics), several Brussels museums open their doors free of charge one day per month. In order to maintain access to a subsidy, museums must be open to the general public free of charge every 1st Sunday or Wednesday of the month. A perfect opportunity to avoid breaking the bank during your cultural family outings.

Among these is a large number of museums well known to the general public. Among others, we find: the BELvue Museum, the King's House, the Jewish Museum of Belgium, the Museum of Natural Sciences, the Magritte Museum...

Museums open for free in Brussels

Magritte Museum

Free the first Wednesday of the month. Find out more about the Magritte Museum.

Slip Museum

Free on the 1st Sunday of each month (between 16-20 p.m.).

The King's House

Free on the first Sunday of each month (between 10 a.m. and 17 p.m.).
