Collecto, cheap taxi in Brussels?
Broke after spending all your money on your last outing? Stuck on the sidewalk miles from home? If you have at least 5 euros left in your pocket, you might not have to walk home. It's not a bus or a bike, but a taxi : Collecto, the cheap taxi.
Collecto is your affordable shared taxi in Brussels. You won't be alone in the Collecto, as it will pick up other passengers along the way. This results in a much lower fare. Collecto rides within the capital are offered at a fixed price. For €5, these Collectos are available 7 days a week between 11 PM and 6 AM throughout the Brussels-Capital Region.
Please note that departure times are fixed . Shared taxis depart on the hour or hour and a half (for example, 1:00 AM, 1:30 AM, etc.), between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM (last departure). You must be present at the Collecto pick-up point at the time agreed upon with the dispatch center. The Collecto taxi will pick you up no later than 10 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time.
If you are using the Collecto system for the first time, the ride must be booked at least twenty minutes before the desired departure time by calling the call center.
Booking a Collecto taxi in Brussels is possible by phone, answering machine, SMS, or via the Collecto app.
Note that the Collecto service is suspended on New Year's Eve on December 24 and 31.

Barely a foot in the Belgian capital, Pierre launched “InsideBrussels.be” more than 10 years ago, the idea is simple: “What to do? Where to go to eat or have a drink? “. Entrepreneur at heart, this is not his first project! Far from there. EatLocal.io; KingCard.be, Bricabrac.be … Like wine, with time the project improves!
Pierre does not hesitate to share his favorites and his best addresses of Brussels restaurants that he could recommend to you with his eyes closed.
