Shilla a Korean supermarket in Audergehm (c) pIerre Halleux

As a regular visitor to Shilla Supermarket, I am always impressed by the wide selection of authentic products imported from Korea and Japan, with some bonus Chinese and Thai items. It's a relief to know that the store is open even on Sundays, and Fridays and Saturdays are particularly exciting with their offering of fresh Japanese bread. Every time I venture down the aisles of Shilla, I feel transported on a sensory journey through its exotic, colorfully packaged products from faraway places. The product range, mainly Japanese and Korean, includes kitchenware, fresh produce, drinks, spices and frozen foods, all at reasonable prices. However, I must admit that finding a parking space can be a real challenge in the surrounding area. Despite the somewhat high prices, I appreciate the impressive variety of Asian products offered by the supermarket, especially Korean products, covering frozen foods, drinks, canned goods and fresh produce. Although I didn't spot any sushi or mochi during my visits, it's clear that Shilla specializes in Korean products, making it a must-stop for fans of Asian cuisine in Brussels.

  • Open on weekends
  • Wide choice of products
