2. Knees to Chin

Calling all Asian fusion food lovers ! Knees to Chin, located in Ixelles, offers a unique culinary journey through the flavors of Asia. What we appreciate here are fresh and flavorful dishes that are quite out of the ordinary . You can enjoy delicious rice rolls filled with fresh and tasty ingredients, as well as street food inspired by different regions of Asia. A culinary escape is guaranteed. Each roll comes with a special sauce.

We particularly like these two:

  • Crispy Bacon: Rice roll stuffed with crispy bacon, pear, marinated daikon, fresh parsley, pickled mustard seeds and wasabi mayonnaise. The combination of smoked bacon and sweet pear is original and delicious, enhanced by the spiciness of marinated daikon, mustard seeds and wasabi mayonnaise (€5.9).
  • peking duck: Rice roll topped with Peking duck, pineapple, fresh mint, fresh parsley, crushed peanuts and miso mayonnaise. This revisited composition of Peking duck is an explosion of flavors and textures, with the sweetness of pineapple and the freshness of mint which perfectly counterbalance the fat of the duck (€5.9).

In addition to these two delicious rolls, here is another budget-friendly option:

  • Combo Lunch: This menu includes two rice rolls and a side dish of your choice (rice bowl with peanut sauce, coleslaw or miso soup) for €14.9. This is an ideal option for a hearty and tasty meal at an affordable price.

The price of the dishes varies depending on your choice , but it is generally between €8 and €12 . The two rolls mentioned above are offered at €5.9 each and the Combo Lunch is €14.9.

Fancy a quick and tasty snack? Head to Friterie Antoine! This chip shop serves some of the best fries in Brussels (in our opinion), cooked in beef fat and served with a multitude of sauces.
