Delivery and reception of the SmartMat

SmartMat Meal Box Week 18 Brussels

Despite a technical incident for which SmartMat had informed me by text message of a major delay, the SmartMat truck rang at my door slightly later than expected, with a smile.

As soon as I open my SmartMat, the impression is unanimous: wow! The box is filled to the brim and overflowing with products. On the inside, 3 recipes printed on card stock with photos that make you hungry. The recipes look quick and easy. I had never tried a homemade “fish & chips” type recipe, but here, the explanations for making the breaded cod seem really simple. It gives really want to put on your apron and start cooking.

Ingredient-wise, it looks like SmartMat keeps its word. Everything is fresh, from organic chives (still planted in a clod of earth) to cod. I hasten to store everything in the fridge to observe the products. By arranging them, I easily distinguish those that are labeled Biography. Here, no "lights", nor even useless dyes or flavor enhancers! It looks like the SmartMat is as much as possible made up of local products ou Biography.

Week 18 SmartMenu

This week, my SmartMat contained the following recipes, each can be done in less than an hour. The great fan of southern cuisine that I am, makes me change the order of the menu. Instead of cooking the “breaded cod” first, I turn to the “mozzarella stuffed meatballs with tomato sauce”. A delight. In less than 30 minutes everything is on the table. Wonderful!

After reading the explanatory booklet on "SmartMat, what is it?" », we realize that these recipes are not the result of chance. In effect, the menu optimized for a balanced diet is prepared by a team d'experts en nutrition.
