Which museums are always free in Brussels?

Among the 160 museums offering free entry every first Sunday of the month, around thirty are also accessible free of charge on the other days of the week. Additionally, some museums and exhibitions remain free all the time, even if they close on Sundays or weekends for some.

Are there museums that are free only on certain days?

Following an initiative launched in 2012 by an ASBL (Arts&Publics), several Brussels museums open their doors free of charge one day per month. In order to maintain access to a subsidy, museums must be open to the general public free of charge every 1st Sunday or Wednesday of the month. A perfect opportunity to avoid breaking the bank during your cultural family outings.

Among these, there is a large number of museums well known to the general public. Among others, we find: the BELvue Museum, the King's House, Jewish Museum of Belgium, Natural Sciences Museum, the Magritte Museum... Below I tell you more about the free museums in Brussels.
