All about the Museum of Eroticism and Mythology (MEM)

Here is a small museum well hidden in an old residence of the Template located in a very nice street. This museum is surprising and worth the detour. Fun guaranteed, it obviously depends on who accompanies you. Once inside you will find all kinds of things related to sex and eroticism. All this explained perfectly well by the manager who will not hesitate to make a few comments. The museum is not very big, but without any regrets, it is worth seeing.

The Erotic Museum offers a historical overview of erotic art from antiquity to the present day. This private collection, among the most beautiful in Europe, presents rare and unique pieces: ivories, paintings, sculptures, prints Japanese, Greco-Roman antiquities, Japanese prints, works by Belgian artists and other curiosities.

It was in March 2012 that the museum was created by Doctor Guy Martens. Son and grandson of doctors. The objective of the museum is to show the existence of eroticism since the discovery of sexual pleasure by Man. and is the culmination of a lifelong passion for erotic art. The man started this impressive collection at the age of 17. Today, the collection has more than 800 works of art.
