The Royal Gaulish Artistic and Literary Circle

It is an the heart of the Royal Park of Brussels you can find the Cercle Royal Gaulois, Artistic and Literary. It is with pleasure that their members meet for lunch or attend an activity organized by the Circle. Among these members are a large number of people from different backgrounds: ambassadors, representatives of professions liberal, scientists, magistrates, professors university, men policies, business owners, artists...

The roots of the Circle are very old. Its foundation dates from 1847 by an astronomer Adolphe Quételet. It was born from the fusion between the Cercle de la Toison d'Or and the Cercle Gaulois. In 1937, it was renamed "Royal" to finally become in 1951, the Royal Gaulish Artistic and Literary Circle today.

The circle is open to any political, cultural or philosophical tendency. At its center, you will find various meetings: intellectual, friendly, literary, artistic, humorous, gastronomic, and even sporting... Refinement and conviviality are the key words.
