Since March 11, 2020, the authorities have reinforced the measures. If you have any of the symptoms, stay home! Don't go to your doctor's waiting room either…you could infect other patients. It is however not easy to know the symptoms.
The idea is simple, but it had to be implemented. The Vrije Universiteit Brussel did. A simple Internet application. It allows you to determine your risk of cornoavirus infection online. The first purpose of the test is to enlighten you about your personal situation and to provide advice in order to avoid worrying you unnecessarily.
It is therefore on the basis of a series of questions related to the symptoms of the disease that the application assesses the probability of being infected with the coronavirus. For example, Ado you have a fever? A sore throat suddenly appeared? Migraines?….
The questionnaire, available in several languages: French, Dutch, German, English, Spanish and Vietnamese. This was developed according to government and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. According to the evolution of the research, it will be constantly updated according to the evolution of the situation.
The app then provides you with tips. Attention, this application does not however replace the consultation of your doctor. In short, if in doubt about the results, avoid contact with other people and call your doctor.
