Pop in the city arrives in Brussels

Pop in the city: kesako? About twenty challenges to overcome, hundreds of overmotivated babes, a frantic race against the clock and unforgettable memories: this is the explosive cocktail offered by Pop in the city!

The “pop-in” concept

Pop in the city (“Pop in” for short!) is the first 100% female urban raid. On one day, teams made up of two women must achieve a maximum of challenges from five themes : extreme, sport, art, culture, solidarity. Using their road book, the teams must guess where in the city the challenges are located and complete as many of them as possible before crossing the finish line at 17 p.m. Winners usually succeed between 15 to 20 challenges in 8 hours ; popeuses don't hang around! Pop in the city has already taken place in several European cities: each edition has a new destination. In previous editions, Pop in was invited to Porto, Bologna, Aix-en-Provence, Utrecht. In 2015, three events were organised: Risoul in winter, Nantes in summer and now Pop in is coming to Brussels this fall!

Saturday, September 26 you will see 650 girls running through the streets of Brussels, all dressed in orange t-shirts, the official t-shirts to take part in the competition. The list of challenges that these popeuses will have to meet is kept secret until Saturday 9am, when they will receive their precious road book.
As the challenges are always linked to the specialties of the host city, one can imagine that the participants will have to learn to brew beer, draw a comic, find out who invented our delicious pralines, abseil from the fiftieth anniversary arch, learn about art deco or test their knowledge of the European Union. A great day awaits them! We hope for them that the drache will not be in the game 😉

Anyway, if you are in the center of Brussels on Saturday September 26, there is a good chance that you will be called upon by the "popeuses" to answer their questions about the city, to help them find their way or pick them up to take them to the next challenge!
