This Thursday, October 28th, Uber , a company that needs no introduction, is launching in Brussels. It's now competing among the food delivery startups in Brussels . Uber Eats isn't the only player in the already crowded Brussels market. Take Eat Eats recently had to close its doors, leaving room for Pizza.be, Deliveroo, and Resto-in.
Through its Uber Eats app , the subsidiary of Uber, the taxi company, will offer Brussels residents the option to order meals between 11:00 AM and 23:00 PM. There's not much innovation in the Uber Eats system. Like its existing competitors, Uber Eats will deliver meals prepared by Uber's partner restaurants in Brussels. These meals will then be delivered by couriers on motorcycles or bicycles.
Only difference, constraint to Deliveroo and Pizza.be, UberEats does not ask for preparation costs for the order. These costs generally amount to 2€50. Orders also do not have a minimum amount. It is therefore possible for you to have a simple sandwich delivered to your workplace.

Today UberEATS is available in 40 cities in 13 countries around the world, including Brussels recently. UberEats now owns its HQ in the space occupied until recently by TakeEatEasy. The 100% Belgian startup had unfortunately had to close shop due to receivership and lack of profitability. The meal delivery company had more than 3.000 affiliated restaurants and 350.000 customers in 20 Belgian and European cities.
