Where to park in Brussels midi?

You are spending a weekend in Brussels and your hotel is located near Brussels Midi station? Discover all the parking solutions to park your car during your stay in Brussels.

1. Park for free in Anderlecht … at your own risk

In some areas of Anderlecht, it is possible to park for free. However, pay attention to the different parking zones. Some are chargeable, others require parking for a maximum of 2 hours. In the streets near the midday station, so it is possible to park for free. But beware, this district is not the safest district of Brussels… Do not leave valuables in sight. Don't be paranoid, but still think about open your glove box once emptied to show that there is nothing to steal in your vehicle. Don't leave your iPhone and GPS cables and chargers in sight either. 2. Park in the beautiful districts of Brussels

If you are frightened by the idea that your car may be scratched (or a window broken in the worst case) around the Brussels-Midi guard, park your vehicle in the beautiful districts of Brussels and go to the Gare du Midi in Villa or Metro. Indeed, Brussels is not a huge city like Paris. In less than 30 minutes, you can reach the Gare du Midi by public transport. If you don't like public transport, you can also reach Brussels-Midi using taxis Collecto (cheaper than traditional taxis).

3. Park at the Heizel car park: safe and not overpriced

Without doubt the easiest and safest: the Heizel car park. This car park remains very easy to access by car via the Belgian road network. There are more than 12.000 parking spaces available near P12. You can then take le Metro or Tram 52 to center. The journey will be approximately 20 minutes. Price per day: 6 euros.

4. Free parking near the Schuman/Mérode metro in Brussels

If you're lucky, try earlier near the Cinquantenaire park. On either side of the Cinquentenaire arches, there are around fifty free parking spaces. On weekdays, around 10am, there is still room. Two metro stations are located near the Parc du Cinquentenaire: Mérode (located 5 stations from Brussels Central) or cross the park to Schuman (located 4 stations from Brussels-Central).

5. Park for free in Brussels: Transit parking
