Its creator, Rene Bufkens, is not an amateur. After believing in his project, the fairground from father to son, passionate about fairgrounds has finally received the long-awaited authorization to install his 5th big wheel. He put it where he had always dreamed of it: the Place Poelaert. About 4 years ago, this one acquired the Big Wheel of Paris. Finally he installed it near the Garde du Midi, at the end of the avenue de Stalingrad in Brussels.

According to him, this would give “the most beautiful view of Brussels and its surroundings”.  This Ferris wheel is likely to attract many Brussels residents in search of romance. Tourists looking for the most beautiful view of Brussels will also be present.

What are the opening hours of the Ferris Wheel Place Poelaert?

The Poelaert Ferris Wheel will be active for several months. However, there is no indication yet that this attraction will be permanently approved. So, if you want to participate in this trial period, Do not miss your chance. You have to go there before November 19, 2019.

After November 19, the wheel will first be moved to the « Winter fun 2019 » (Brussels Christmas Market located at Place Saint-Catherine), and will be accessible from November 29, 2019. After evaluation, this “test” period could, as in other European cities, give rise to a permanent installation.

Anyway, in the meantime, we advise you to go and try the Ferris wheel at sunset time. This is when Brussels lights up with a thousand lights and makes the hearts of lovers in search of heights beat faster. If you want to impress your next date, then you know where to go.

Depending on the weather, the Ferris Wheel will be open from Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 00 p.m.

What is the entry price of the Ferris Wheel Place Poelaert in Brussels?

The attraction, accessible every day from 10 a.m. to 23 p.m. (for 5 to 8 euros), will close on November 19 and will then be moved up to Place Sainte-Catherine, in the center of the capital, for the next edition of Les Plaisirs d'Hiver, scheduled to start on November 29.
