2. Oenology course of the Oenological Circle of the ULB in Ixelles
Who says Student Circle would suggest that the event is reserved for them. Make no mistake, although the event is organized by them, it is accessible to the general public. The event hosted by Fabrizio Bucella – professor of physics in Brussels but also renowned oenologist – takes place 1 Tuesday or Wednesday per month in the audience of ULB in Brussels. Sessions begin with a theoretical presentation of +-45 minutes to find out more about the theme of the day. The themes of each session are varied: organic wines, Alsace, Californian wines, wines & chocolate, wines & cheeses... You can start lessons whenever you want. You don't need to do them all either. You can only do the ones that interest you. During your oenology evening, you taste 6 wines different at each session. The opportunity to make you discover wines less accessible for students. The circle wishes to make the sessions accessible to as many people as possible, which is why the price does not change, 10€ for students ! A little more but not much for the others. Our favourite: the champagne and crémant session. Who also broke the world record for the largest oenology course in the world in December 2018!
