It has been several years since I discovered this place thanks to Portuguese friends. And I come back with pleasure on Sundays to eat with friends on the terrace. Once seated, you quickly forget that you are on Avenue de la Couronne. The team of Albano the boss is at the top! You will find a variety of authentic Portuguese cuisine à really good prices. The atmosphere friendly, amiable, nice, relaxed. If these dishes are on the menu during your visit, do not hesitate to taste the “frango no churasco” (grilled chicken), arroz de polvo (rice with octopus), and pincaha (rib steak from Brazil). Fish dishes are also delicious. Children will enjoy a spaghetti bolo. Save room for dessert! There are traditional Portuguese desserts, but strangely that's where I ate one of the best chocolate mousse in Brussels.

Looking for a place rather original, intimate with excellent terrace à Ixelles? Look no further, we have found one with excellent Food Italian. Do you know what's hiding behind the Chaussée de Vleurgat at number 52? A restaurant with a fairly small menu, but with seasonal products and rather original dishes. On the plate, it is well stocked and we notice that it is made with quality products. This is where you will find a real “della mamma” kitchen. The desserts are out of the ordinary, so no tiramisu or panacota and that's good because their desserts are also excellent. Family atmosphere, magnificent terrace, very welcoming and attentive staff. 2. "Meat Meat", a quality meat restaurant in the European district
I haven't eaten in a long time such a good piece of meat ! In love with meat or flexitarian, this address is made for you. The Meet Meat Steak & Wine House brand has two addresses in Brussels: one in the European district and the other in Uccle. The two restaurants offer you on their plate quality products. We will therefore find angus beef straight from argentina.
It's certain a pleasant terrace that you can savor matured meats under vacuum using the “wet aging” technique (one technique gives the meat a softer texture). Here is a beautiful discovery located atin the middle of Chatelain at Ixelles. The setting is magnificent, with its terrace which could make you think that you are in London or Paris, you will be more than delighted. On the kitchen side, its dishes to die for, you will be almost more than conquered. Smooth and fast service. Don't miss the cocktails or a good Aperol Spritz on the terrace. An ideal place, to be recommended for lovers of good food. On the budget side, estimate about 3 services with wine accompaniment for +/- 90€. Note an interesting formula: lunch from Monday to Friday (imposed menu without choice) starter + main course + dessert 36 starter + main course (or main course + dessert 29). Be careful, once at the table, you should know that 2 services are offered…. The 1st service at 19 p.m. or 19:30 p.m. and the 2nd service from 21:30 p.m. If you are in the first, the clock runs because you will have to free the table in time. The restaurant is open 7 days a week, except Saturday lunchtime and Sunday lunchtime.
