Our top 5 restaurants to eat fresh pasta in Brussels

Who says Italian cuisine, says pizza, antipasti and cutlets and aperol-spritz ! We have always limited ourselves, for the writing of this article, to Italian restaurants that make “fresh pasta”.

By "fresh pasta", we mean those who mix flour and water, to shape the tortellini themselves, following the recipe of an Italian mamma. In short, those who make pasta a culinary art.

1. Le Casse-croute: fresh pasta near the UGC Toison d'or

We were looking for a restaurant to eat before going to the UGC Toison d'or cinema. Going down the alley, we see a restaurant that shines in the night "the snack". After consulting the inscription on the shop window " Fresh and homemade pasta » we decided to push the door. Top value for money. Our choice is Pasta Mongole, and Pasta Trio. A delight! Ideal before the cinema, it's ready quickly enough. The Italian restaurant Le Casse-Croûte is located at 22, Rue du Pépin, 1000 Brussels. Monday to Friday, from 12 p.m. to 14:30 p.m. then from 18:30 p.m. to 22:30 p.m., but also on Saturday evening, from 18:30 p.m. to 22:30 p.m.! Note: closed on Sundays.

2. Fresh pasta at Patty Pates Place Saint-Boniface

The Patty Pates hides a few steps from the Place de St-Boniface. We don't trust the outward appearance. Behind this small restaurant is the temple of fresh dough. The menu is impressive! There is a mountain of sauce varieties to accompany your fresh pasta. You could well take 30 minutes to choose the sauce that suits you. Featured: tagliatelle and cannelloni. Arrive early or reserve.
