Every year, the city of Brussels is adorned with its most beautiful lights for the end-of-year celebrations. This year again, the event Brussels by Lights is back from November 23 to January 8, 2024.

On the program, a multitude of light installations to admire in the streets, parks and squares of the capital. The most emblematic are undoubtedly the illuminations of the Grand-Place, which are a must-have in the Christmas time in Brussels.

But there is something for all tastes and for all ages. Children will be delighted to discover the illuminations of Woluwe park, which offer a magical walk through an enchanted world. Adults will appreciate the illuminations of Place de Brouckère, which offer a breathtaking pyrotechnic spectacle.

A geocaching course, new for 2023

In 2023, Brussels by Lights offers an innovative experience with the launch of an interactive geocaching course called Eikosis. This route offers visitors the opportunity to explore the shopping streets of the city center through two fun walks lasting 1 hours each. The starting point is at Boulevard Anspach, 30, at the junction of the pedestrian zone and Rue du Marché aux Poulets, welcoming participants under the benevolent gaze of an imposing giant cat called Eikosis.

The Christmas Lights Tour by bus

This tour is a specially designed route, developed in partnership with Tootbus, offering a unique opportunity to appreciate the illuminations of Brussels by Lights.
